  • Don’t wait until it’s too late to say I love you

Last updated on September 16, 2022

I would like to share with you something that I’ve been reflecting on lately.

Many people never fully express how they feel to their loved ones.

They never really say “I love you”.

Sure, it’s easy to say it in a surfacy kind of way. But, have you ever thought about really opening up your heart, and looking your loved one directly in the eye and telling them that you sincerely love them?

For many people, this can be one of the hardest things to do. To open up and share how they feel.

It seems like many people feel awkward, shy, embarrassed and even downright frightened, at the thought of expressing their love to family, friends and especially their beloved.

Even the thought of communicating at this level can feel intimidating and overwhelmingly threatening. It’s true.

Why can it be so hard to express and even profess our love?

If love, in all it’s shapes, forms, sounds and expressions really is the most powerful, emotion and vibration in the universe, then why is it so seldomely spoken of in our lives?

Why are we so shy to speak it, to give it, and even receive it?

There’s something that we must always remember and never forget, it’s that unexressed love is one of the greatest causes of regret.

It’s unfortunate, but we usually wait until the people close to us have died, or are lying on their death bed to realize, and finally start expressing how much they truly mean to us.

It’s only then that we start to honor and cherrish them, and to finally start expressing our love to them.

It’s so cliche, but we really don’t know what we have until it’s gone.

So, I wanna invite you to be mindful and not to make this one of your biggest and most lingering regrets in your life.

The mistake of not giving and receiving love in your life.

So starting today, make a commitment to communicate to the people in your life, that you truly love and genuinely appreciate them.

I promise that you won’t regret it.
